Senate Candidates Toe the Party Line at Debate

(Cleveland, OH)  Ohio voters are getting a clearer picture of the candidates in the state's U.S. Senate race. 

Incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown and Republican challenger Jim Renacci met in Cleveland Sunday night for the first of three debates.  

Republican Candidate Says No to Toledo Debate

The candidates offered opposing approaches to healthcare, gun control and immigration along their parties' lines. 

Senate Candidate Defends Riding Strip Club Plane

The most heated moment in the debate came after Renacci brought up Brown’s three decades-old divorce. 

Brown fired back saying that his former wife and daughters, who were in attendance, have repeatedly asked Renacci to to stop attacking their family.
