Republican Candidate Says No to Toledo Debate

(Toledo, OH)  After a challenge was extdended by one major-party candidate for governor, his opponent says it's no-go.

Democratic candidate for governor Richard Cordray ended Monday nights third and final debate by challenging his opponent Republican Mike DeWine to one more face off, this time in the Glass City.

The Toledo Blade reports DeWine has turned down their offer to host the debate. 

Conservative Ohio Newspaper Endorses Democrat

The DeWine campaign cited lengthy negotiations that took place for the first three debates as the reason for declining. 

Ohio Political Party Not Happy About Debate

In the U.S. Senate race, Democrat Sherrod Brown and Republican Jim Renacci have firmed up three meetings, the first this Sunday, in Cleveland.
