County Elections Officials in Need of Workers

(Toledo, OH)  Lucas County elections officials are calling for more poll workers. 

This year's National Voter Registration Day broke the previous record set for new registered voters and Lucas County is looking for nearly 14-hundred people. 

Council to Vote on Paid Time Off to Work Polls

Lucas County will pay $160 for both training and poll day work. 

Precinct election official duties include: helping voters sign in and find their voting location, making sure voting machines are working properly, and helping to enforce the rules that maintain the fairness and security of the day's election.
