Ladies & Gentlemen, rock and roll ... and, with those words, the MTV Generation was launched. Bob Pittman, now-CEO of iHeartMedia, created the network that signed on the air August 1, 1981. Martha Quinn was one of the network's original veejays and joined The Scott Sands Show by Zoom to share a few memories from MTV.
