SUNDAY, NOV. 3: KRUSH THE CAR FOR CHARITY

Former Walleye forward AJ Jenks returns to the Huntington Center as a member of the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday, November 3! What better way to get ready to take on our biggest rivals than with the “Krush the Car” for charity promotion!

Cherry Picked Auto Parts has donated a van that we've painted Komets colors (black and orange). Fans can purchase sledgehammer swings and take out their Opening Weekend excitement and angst on the van! The fun starts at 4 p.m. on November 3 outside of the Huntington Center (on S. Huron St., near the Aquarium), ahead of the 5:15 p.m. game vs. Fort Wayne.

A sledgehammer swing costs $10 (or three for $20) with all the proceeds to benefit Lucas County Canine Care and Control (charity chosen by FINatics members) and Walleye Wishing Well. It's going to be a Krushing good time! | Presented by Cherry Picked Auto Parts and WCWA | Artist Tony Touch
