Last summer, O.A.R. was one of the most attended concerts of the summer ... and, they're back this Friday night as part of the ProMedica Summer Concert Series. Guitarist Richard On called The Scott Sands Show to talk about performing in Toledo and the band's origins at Ohio State University -- click here to listen on our free iHeartRadio app.
OAR will also introduce their new brew, The Mighty Lager, at the concert.

OAR (short for Of A Revolution) was founded in 1996 in Rockville MD by Marc Roberge, Chris Culos, Richard On, Benj Gershman, and Jerry DePizzo. They've had nine studio albums to date, including The MIghty, released earlier this year. They're highly regarded for their live shows and touring. After graduation from high school, they went on to Ohio State -- Richard tells us they chose Columbus because of the quanitity of bars where the band could play and develop a following.
