According to the Associated Press "Vermont on Tuesday became the first state in the country to change its medically assisted suicide law to allow terminally ill people from out of state to take advantage of it to end their lives. Republican Gov. Phil Scott signed the bill that removes the residency requirement for the decades-old law."
The state motto for years has been "Freedom And Liberty" a few years ago they added a Latin phrase "Stella quarta decima fulgeat" do they now need another state motto to reflect the change in the law? And what should it be...Vote now
