According to President Trump the CDC guidelines for reopening schools this Fall are "very tough & expensive" and in some cases "very impractical". Trump said "I will be meeting with them!!!" Shortly afterward VP Mike Pence suggested "And as we work with Congress on the next round of state support, we're going to be looking for ways to give states a strong incentive and encouragement to get kids back to school," What those incentives might be is not clear because most school funding comes from local and state funding. The Federal government does grant monies to inner city schools and special education.
Many school administrators disagree with fully reopening schools until the number of cases is lower fearing another out break with children in close quarters.
