A Few Good Things- Some Of The Nice Things People Are Doing For Each Other

With everyone social distancing and a stay at home order in place across the state it's tough to show your love for family members who are in senior living residences like Genesis Village, even tougher for family members working long hours in health care.

Here are two examples of how foks in the area are showing appreciation and love for the the rest of us. If you have an example send it to me at fred@wspd.com and I'll add it to this story.

People from the community stopped outside Genesis Village on Reynolds Rd. and left the senior residents some messages written on the sidewalk

The other pic is from Anna Woodward whose daughter is having to do schoolwork with her 6 year old son. Here’s a picture of what they did for art this week. She has a large picture window and has noticed how many more people are walking/running in the neighborhood these days. Plus with family members and friends in the medical field and others who are considered “essential”, and a husband in the Ohio National Guard currently working with the food banks to distribute food, she decided that her son’s art project this week would be one of encouragement.

Margie is really using her time well,

1. Practicing social distancing while visiting my 86 year old Mom.

2. Virtual visit with friends.

3. Donated much needed blood.

4. Made face masks for my family!
