The first step on the road to the Democrat nomination for president happens this evening in Iowa. Voters from across the state will meet in homes, schools, and rental halls to choose which of the many candidates they will support. Iowa has been the starting point for presidential elections for years now but it isn't always a sign that the winner will take the nomination later this year.
Senators who were in D.C. all week for impeachment hearings got a final weekend in the state to make their case to voters. The final Des Moines Register poll was not released because of a snafu with a candidate's name being left off the calls so we don't have a clear idea of who the front runner might be.
The top three seem to be Biden, Sanders, and Warren with dark horse Buttigieg a close fourth.
Who do you think will win the Iowa caucus and leave your comments below if you think they can beat Trump in November.
