Morning show host Fred LeFebvre of 1370 WSPD was honored by the Sylvania Area Family Services for his social service to the community with a 2019 Ray Of Hope Award at ceremonies Wednesday evening. The event, held annually by SAFS, honors those who through their service have helped strengthen our community. This year LeFebvre received his award for his continued work with social service and charitable organizations in and around Toledo.
In his acceptance speech LeFebvre thanked his family and iHeart Toledo for their support of his actions on behalf of others and pointed out that no one person can make a difference without support from others. He also praised the work of The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers MC for which he serves as Public Information Officer.
