A federal office, the Office of Special Counsel, has recommended that Kellyanne Conway be removed from her office because of numerous violations of the Hatch Act. The Hatch Act prohibits federal employees except for President and Vice President from using their jobs to campaign for or against political candidates. On numerous occasions Conway has commented on Democrat presidential candidates which the the Office of Special Counsel believes is a violation. The administration does not agree however and says the act viiolates her free speech rights.
