The Lucas County commissioners have chosen a new location for the jail they say needs to be built. This time it's suggested location is near Detroit Ave and Alexis Rd. Neighbors are already complaining that it's too close to Shoreland Elementary and their homes. Public comment meetings will be held in the coming weeks and 1370 WSPD will have the details as they become available.
