Begun during the Obama administration as a response to his actions on taxes, and regulations the Tea Party never really became a national force but did manage to get a few supporters elected to some offices. Now that President Trump is in office and promises to cut regulations, ease taxes, and abandon Common Core will the Tea Party movement become irrelevant, or are they now more powerful?
