Councilperson Nick Komives believes there is a digital equity gap in Toledo and wants to spend money studying it. Komives proposes spending $20,000 to study what he believes is a problem in access to internet service. Komives says he saw "kids standing outside the library trying to get access to the internet during COVID". He and a group of people decided they needed to do something about it.
