Show up sick at work? - Monday Sixty Minute Poll

Josh Mandel who would to replace Rob Portman in the Senate thinks you're a hero is you go to work sick. Mandel visited Inside The Five in Sylvania over the weekend and tweeted out this about one of the waitresses "Even though Brianne was sick today, she came to work because she knew they were short servers. These are the type of American workers that make our country strong." He was posing for a photograph with his arm around her shoulder. There is no indication of what the "sickness" was but the social media response was swift. The owners appeared to delete their Twitter account and posted a statement on Facebook Saturday in response.

“Contrary to social media opinions expressed yesterday, the health and wellness of our employees and patrons is our top priority,” it is our policy for employees to inform management of any symptoms prior to their shift and not report to work. We follow all state and county guidelines."
