District Six Councilman Chris Delaney has announced he is leaving council as of Tuesday. Delaney who now works in Michigan explained that he tried to balance both jobs but found it to be too much. Delaney originally was appointed to the seat after Lindsay Webb took the job of Treasurer, then won a special election in 2018, and another in 2019 to a full term.
Many believe the seat should remain empty and that council should cut out a number of seats. So should the Delaney seat be filled and if so by whom?
