The United States celebrated a space victory yesterday with the landing of the Mars rover Perseverance on the surface the planet. Because the time for communications between the planets is more than 11 minutes the time it took from entering the atmosphere until the rover touched down was called the "7 minutes of terror." Everything had to go just right to stick the landing, and it did.
But that got me to thinking. Remember the game 7 Minutes In Heaven you played as at high school parties? Well what if the 7 minutes of terror was actually something else?
