Lucas, Wood Counties Under Winter Storm Watch

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Several counties in Northwest Ohio are under a Winter Storm Watch ahead of Saturday's expected snow fall.

Lucas, Wood, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties will be under a Winter Storm Watch starting at midnight tonight and lasting through late Saturday night. 

In addition to the potential for heavy snow, northeast winds will gust to between 30 and 40 mph with the strongest winds across Northwest Ohio and near Lake Erie. Blowing and drifting of snow is expected by Saturday night. Much colder air will arrive behind this system on Sunday with wind chill values falling to between zero and 15 below on Sunday night.
