Test results are pending on new human remains found along I-75.
The State Highway Patrol says the remains were recovered Tuesday morning near Eagleville Road in North Baltimore.
Investigators say the discovery is connected to the murder of David Carter of Melvindale, Michigan.
Portions of Carters body were discovered in a sleeping bag off the highway in Hancock County by an ODOT employee who was mowing the area earlier this month.
