Kaptur: Reworked NAFTA Is Overdue

(Toledo, OH)  Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is cautiously optimistic about a revised trade agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Toledo Democrat says a new NAFTA was overdue, citing the northwest Ohio jobs lost to low-wage Mexican workers since the original pact was passed in 1994.

Kaptur wants the deal announced yesterday to include more details about how American workers will be affected by the new agreement.
