Facebook Post Forces Oregon PD to Stop False Info

(Oregon, OH)  After a social media storm, Oregon Police set the record straight.

An Oregon woman posted on her Facebook page last week warning others that a man followed her around a store and then out to the parking lot.

The post also claimed that the local store was a known sex trafficking area.

Oregon Police responded via their Facebook page to prevent further misinformation saying they've never had any trafficking reports in their jurisdiction.

After reviewing security footage, OPD found that all interactions between the woman and the alleged "stalker" were all coincidental.
