(Maumee, OH)  Big Changes Proposed For County Rec Center. 

There may be new plans in store for the Lucas County Recreation Center. 

County commissioners are in talks with Maumee city officials about handing over the property, saying they can't afford the upkeep on the decades-old complex. 

Maumee officials would like to tear the building down and make the 90-acre site available to housing developers. 

County officials cited concerns over the condition of Ned Skeldon Stadium, the home of the Toledo Mud Hens from 1965 to 2002, as the spark for the talks
