The Toledo City Council is set to consider raising the police departments vehicle impound lot fees for the first time since 2008.
The agenda for Tuesday's city council meeting show the proposed rates growing $20 to $145 per vehicle and an additional $10 for towing companies bringing that price to $85.
The city towed 9,102 vehicles in 2017, a steep increase from the 6,399 vehicles towed just a few years earlier in 2013.
