(Maumee, OH) Some suburban leaders say the city of Toledo is forcing a regional water commission on them.
Water War Erupts Between Bryan, Toledo Suburbs
WTOL-TV reports the communities received contracts from the city yesterday, asking them to join the commission without any discussions.
The suburbs are waiting on a study that will determine whether an aquifer in Williams County could provide their water instead of tapping into Toledo's system.

Maumee Mayor Richard Carr said that Toledo leaders not discussing anything with them before they sent it is just another example of the suburbs really not being given a voice in how their water rates would be determined.
