Flood Waters Recede After Torrential Rain

(Toledo, Oh) Several Toledo neighborhoods are drying out after torrential downpours swamped Labor Day festivities on Monday.

Heavy rain caused flooding in several neighborhoods on Monday, leaving knee-high water in some areas.

Drivers were forced to detour around flooded intersections, including the areas of Douglas Road and Central Avenue, where several vehicles had spun out of control and slid into ditches before the waters finally receded.
