TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority will become the new owners of One Government Center.
WTOL 11 reports the Port Authority's Board of Directors voted Thursday to approve the purchase of the Michael V. Disalle Government Center from the state of Ohio for $1. The Board of Directors also approved a $1 million fund for operating costs when they assume control of the building.
Built in 1983, the Disalle Government Center houses city, county and state offices with more than 1,500 employees working in the building.
