(Toledo, OH) If you're thinking about "going back to school" this fall, there's a free course with TPD.
The Toledo Police Department is seeking 25 good cadets for its 15th Citizen Police Academy, ten weeks of Wednesday night sessions to give interested people a closer look at crime prevention, investigations, and data-driven policing.
Those classes begin October third and wrap up just before Christmas. Applicants must be Toledo residents, 21 years or older, able to pass a background check, and be able to attend 80 percent of the classes. There will be a graduation ceremony at the conclusion of the academy.
Completed applications are due in mid-September and can be found at toledopolice.com.
