(Lake Twp., OH) Lake Township trustees are looking to unload some real estate.
Trustees are hoping to sell three parcels of land near I-280, two of them also along LeMoyne Road. One piece of real estate is a former Ohio State Highway Patrol post that closed in 2007 when the patrol opened a new Wood County post near Bowling Green.
That site also served as an emergency operations center in the aftermath and clean-up of a tornado that wiped out the township administration building and heavily damaged Lake High School.
While that property now has a tall radio tower and back-up generator, it's no longer needed and Lake Township officials are hoping someone can turn it into business offices or some other tax-generating use.
