TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo Police are looking for applicants for the 15th Annual TPD Citizen Police Academy.
The ten-week program in intended to enhance relations between the police and the community by giving people an overview of what its like to be a Toledo Police officer. Participants will go through a miniature version of the Toledo Police Academy and receive training in a wide range of subjects from criminal law to the use of deadly force.
Sessions will be held on consecutive Wednesday evenings, beginning on October 3 and running though December 13. More information and applications can be found at toledopolice.com.
