(Perrysburg, OH) Summer abruptly ends for many Northwest Ohio students this week.
Perrysburg students are the first ones back to school Tuesday, with Sylvania and Maumee operating on a staggered start on Wednesday.
Other school districts starting classes mid-week for everyone include Evegreen, Findlay, Oregon, and Wauseon, along with some scattered rural school systems.
Many high school students already have been back on campus for everything from football to marching band, volleyball to cross country. The early-starting school districts do so to end the first semester and exams before Christmas break.
