I-75 Fatal Crash Charges Filed Against Driver

(Bowling Green, OH) Charges are filed in a June Wood County crash that killed an unborn baby.

That I-75 crash seriously injured the children's librarian from the Bowling Green library and her 78-year old mother, hurt the suspect's passenger in the car and killed her unborn child. The librarian's mother is now paralyzed from a broken neck.

The Ohio Highway Patrol has filed reckless operation and failure to wear seat belt charges against Eric Ramirez of Findlay.

Troopers say Ramirez lost control of his car, drove into the median, then overcorrected-- hitting a Prius and shoving that car into a tractor-trailer. Two people had to be cut out of the cars from that crash.
