BG Rape Suspect Returned from Texas by Marshals

(Bowling Green, OH) A Bowling Green teen rape suspect gets his day in court today.

David Ramos Contreras was extradited early this week from Texas, where federal marshals caught up with him after fleeing rape charges filed by Bowling Green police. He'll be arraigned sometime today. Police say Contreras should never have been back in the U.S, after being deported last October.

A second suspect is in custody, but the search continues for two others still on the lam--  Juan Adiel and Arnulfo Ramos. One used to live in Florida, the other in Texas. The four rape suspects were believed to be living in the same Days Inn hotel where two teen girls were staying with their mom.

The men are accused of sexually assaulting the sisters. All four suspects in the rape case are believed to have bogus work papers and I.D.'s, but B-G police emphasize their focus is on getting justice for the two teens, not investigating the immigration status of the suspects.
