Toledo's Mayor to Outline Water System Upgrades

(Toledo, OH) Toledo’s mayor will outline how city leaders are keeping the region’s drinking water safe today.

Mayor Wade Kapsukiewicz will talk about everything from projects completed at the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant to monitoring drinking water quality the rest of the summer.

The toxic algae bloom season is in full swing, so Toledo city officials will try to keep the public’s confidence in preventing another toxic water crisis like the one four summers ago.

Toledo’s mayor will speak alongside the director of the Lake Erie Center for a press briefing at 11 a.m.
