TOLEDO, Ohio - Two towns that cancelled their fireworks displays due to the extreme heat around the holiday have rescheduled their festivities.
WTOL 11 reports Springfield Township's show will now be held on August 10 at Community Homecoming Park. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 10pm.
Swanton will wait until the end of summer to reschedule their fireworks. The village will hold a Fireworks Fest End of the Summer Party on September 8 at Swanton High School. The event will begin at 6pm with fireworks at dusk.
