Waterville Chamber Tells Shoppers Businesses Open

(Waterville, OH) The Waterville chamber of commerce is hoping an extended bridge closure won't hurt its member businesses.

The Waterville chamber of commerce is reminding the public they can still get to downtown in order to shop locally-owned businesses, even though the Maumee River bridge is in the midst of a 45-day closure for an ODOT project.

The chamber has published a map with routes to town on its website-- and has announced special summer events will continue as planned, including Walking Tours on August 25, and the Beer, Brats and Brews festival on Saturday July 28.

The bridge is expected to reopen just in time for the start of school sometime in August.
