(Toledo, OH) The clock is ticking to sign up for an EdChoice scholarship in Ohio.
Sign-up begins this week for students attending one of 250 underperforming public schools in the Buckeye state. The state-funded EdChoice scholarships are worth up to $4,650 for students in grades K through 8, and up to $6,000 for high school students to attend a private school of their choosing.
That scholarship is renewable through high school graduation, but families only have until the end of July to apply for the upcoming academic year.
Toledo Public Schools has 22 schools on the list, including 20 elementaries, along with Scott and Woodward High Schools.
