Ohio Supreme Court to Hear Toledo Killer's Appeal

(Columbus, OH) The Ohio Supreme Court will hear the appeal of a Toledo man convicted of killing his ex-wife.

45-year old Ronald Boaston is serving a 15 years-to-life sentence for the murder of 28-year old former wife Brandi Gonyer-Boaston, but claims the report of an expert witness was never given to his defense team in a timely fashion.

Boaston was convicted of strangling his ex-wife, then stuffing her body in th eback of her SUV, and leaving it running in a snow-covered Fulton County field on Valentine's Day 2014.

An appeals court rejected Boaston's appeal, but Ohio justices have agreed to hear his claim of a procedural error in the case.
