(Holland, OH) A Holland Business Center tenant is seeking a zoning change to expand a manufacturing operation.
Splendor Shower Door wants to use an adjoining acre of land along McCord Road in Springfield Township to add some factory floor space and increase its production capacity. The land right now is being used for storage and parking for the shower door maker.
There's no word if any more jobs will be created, but it's a sign the local company established in 2000 is doing well. The retail and commercial development there was last expanded in 2005.
The zoning change would go from commercial to light industrial behind the Lucas County Engineer and Building departments that sit just north of Springfield High School. The Lucas County Plan Commission must approve the request.
