(Toledo, OH) South Toledo could soon see some new housing built.
The Toledo plan commission is being asked to adjust residential zoning for a four-acre site along Heatherdowns Boulevard between Reynolds and Cass Boulevard.
The owner of the proposed Gardengate Place subdivision wants to add more housing to a development that never really got going nearly 15 years ago. There would be nearly 30 residential units in all-- a combination of single-family homes and apartment buildings on the site, which is already surrounded by houses, apartments, and condos.
The housing complex first got approval in 2004, but only three new homes were ever built. If approved, new subdivision plans would have to be drawn up and approved.
