(Columbus, OH) (Columbus, OH) A half-dozen medical marijuana dispensaries are scheduled to open in northwest Ohio this year.
State officials granted permits Monday to locations in Lucas and surrounding counties where the drug would be available. The two Lucas County sites are located along Sylvania Avenue in West Toledo and Conant Street in Maumee.
Marijuana edibles, oils and vaping concentrates would be sold in Toledo, Maumee, Bowling Green, Fremont, Huron and Sandusky.
Registered patients suffering one of 21 approved health conditions would be permitted to buy medicinal pot at the dispensaries starting in September.
