(Bowling Green, OH) Food trucks soon will be rolling into Bowling Green for lunch and dinner, not just events.
BG's city council Monday night approved legislation outlining new food truck operating rules, the result of months of discussion and meetings. The approval comes just in time for summer weather, so the measure goes into effect immediately.
Food truck operators will be required to get a city operating permit, but also may need a mobile food vendor special event permit.
Food trucks will be banned from two heavily-traveled streets-- Main and Wooster. in the past, food trucks only were allowed for special public events.
