(Columbus, OH) Where you can get medical marijuana in Ohio will be known later today.
The Ohio Board of Pharmacy is expected today to announce who will get the licenses for medical marijuana dispensaries in 28 geographic districts across the state. There will be two dispensaries per district-- or 56 in all out of 376 applications submitted to state regulators, which collected more than 11 million dollars in application and licensing fees during the process.
The selected sites will be allowed to sell medicinal pot to qualified and registered patients who have received recommendations from a state-approved list of doctors.
Patients will be able to get medical marijuana for one of 21 different maladies.
