(Perrysburg, OH) As you do your spring cleaning, an all-volunteer nonprofit wants you to repurpose anything that could benefit senior citizens.
Blessings in Disguise is hosting a special drive Saturday for its HELP program, short for Help Elderly Live Productively. Among its charitable efforts for folks down on their luck, the nonprofit group provides durable medical equipment to the senior community who may not be able to afford it or were turned down by their insurance provider.
The group is seeking canes, reachers, grabbers, walkers, shower benches, stools, and other new or used equipment that helps seniors in the home or to get around in the community.
You can drop off those items Saturday at the Perrysburg Wal-Mart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
