Former TPD Detective found Not Guilty in Sex Trial

Former Toledo Police detective Michael Moore was found not guilty on all charges stemming from accusations he paid a minor for sex.

The 16-year-old accused Moore of paying her for sex, while Moore stated that they never had sex, and he had paid her to be an informant while investigating drug rings.

The jury deliberated for around 6 hours before reaching a verdict. They eventually acquitted Moore of two charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two more charges of compelling prostitution.
