(Toledo, OH) Suburban Detroit police arrest a Toledo for a cold case murder.
Southfield Police have arrested a Toledo man for the 2011 death of a woman. Darrin Keener is facing several charges in the death of Helen Gale, including murder and mutilation of a dead body. Highland Park Police found the woman's car on fire in an alley off West Buena Vista Street.
After the fire was extinguished, the woman's body was found inside the car and positively identified through dental records. Investigators with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Division assisted in the case.
Keener is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary exam on May 30th.
