Chamber of Commerce Launches GEO Program

(Toledo, OH) The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is dividing itself into "regions."

The chamber of commerce is launching what it calls the "GEO" program, dividing its 2,000 members into smaller regions to encourage more business networking and participation.

In addition to a downtown Toledo subgroup, smaller suburban or neighborhood regions are being formed with about 250 chamber members apiece-- including South Toledo, the University area, a Maumee-Holland group, a Perrysburg-Rossford group, River East, and Sylvania group.

The idea is to hold smaller meetings to discuss common concerns and offer more convenience.
