(Bowling Green, OH) Wood County may be going to mobile mental health services.
There's debate about what to do about mental health services in Wood County after a fire this month burned down a brick-and-mortar crisis center known as The Link. There was never a loss of service, which continues in a building next-door.
But a long-term decision must be made with a new funding year and a contract coming up July First.
Three providers are offering different proposals at a cost around $500,000 per year-- two of those involving a crisis hotline and a mobile response unit. But some on Wood County's mental health board are worried how that will look to voters with a levy on the November ballot.
