WAUSEON, Ohio - James Worley has been sentenced to death for the murder of Sierah Joughin.
Worley was found guilty of the kidnapping and murder of 20-year-old Joughin on March 27. After a two hour hearing Wednesday that saw Worley address the court for nearly 40 minutes, Judge Jeffery Robinson delivered the sentence of death. That was consistent with the sentencing recommendation the jury delivered two weeks ago.
An execution date of June 3, 2019 was also set.
