Worley Trial Jury To Begin Sentencing Talks Today

(Wauseon, OH)  Jurors in the James Worley murder trial are expected to begin deliberating his fate today.

Worley's attorneys presented testimony in Fulton County Tuesday from relatives and psychiatrists in an effort to keep him off death row.  The defense wants jurors to spare Worley the death penalty for killing Sierah Joughin in 2016, citing his age.  They're asking for life in prison without parole.

Meantime, prosecutors told the jury there is only one conclusion to be drawn in the actions of Worley-- the death penalty.

Joughin's mother took to Facebook, telling the public that justice has already been served in the case. She also stated life in prison without parole is an acceptable sentence to the family at this point.
